Why Do I Still Feel So Exhausted?

A weariness that sleep doesn’t always touch

So many women tell me the same thing.

“I’m exhausted… but it’s more than being tired.”

It’s a weariness that sleep doesn’t always touch. A feeling of always being “on.” Of finding it difficult to truly switch off, soften, or simply rest.

You might be doing all the “right” things. Eating well. Taking supplements. Walking. Meditating. Looking after everyone around you while trying to look after yourself too.

All of these things matter.

But sometimes, we overlook something much more fundamental.

Do you feel safe enough to truly rest?

Safety isn’t only about physical danger.

It’s about whether your whole being feels able to let its guard down.

Life’s transitions can quietly leave us feeling unsettled. Grief. Caring for loved ones. Motherhood. Relationship changes. Menopause. Loss of identity. Financial uncertainty. Loneliness. Even joyful changes can ask us to adapt in ways we never expected.

When life feels uncertain, our bodies can remain in a protective state for longer than we’d like. We may notice tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, shallow breathing, restless sleep, headaches, or a feeling that we’re carrying the weight of the world.

It’s no wonder we can feel deeply tired.

This isn’t about weakness.

It’s about being human.

At The Art of Womanhood, I believe that before we can truly flourish, we often need somewhere to simply feel held.

A place where nothing is expected of us.

Where gentle touch, calming aromas, stillness, creativity, and compassionate connection invite us to pause.

There is something profoundly comforting about kind, intentional touch. Many of us don’t realise how much tension we carry until someone gently invites us to let it go. You may notice your jaw beginning to soften, your shoulders becoming lighter, your breathing slowing, or a sense that your whole body is finally able to settle. My bodywork is offered with presence, care, and respect, creating space for you to rest, receive, and reconnect with yourself.

And healing doesn’t always happen in solitude.

Sometimes it begins in the company of other women.

When women gather, something quietly powerful unfolds. We realise we’re not the only one who has questioned herself, grieved, felt lost, celebrated, started over, or wondered who she is becoming. We share stories, wisdom, laughter, and tears. We listen without judgement and support one another without needing to fix one another.

In those moments, we remember that we were never meant to carry everything alone.

I don’t believe there is one answer that fits every woman.

But I do believe that feeling seen, feeling heard, feeling cared for, and feeling connected can be deeply restorative.

That is the heart of The Art of Womanhood.

A place where you are invited to slow down.

To breathe.

To reconnect with yourself.

And to discover that sometimes the greatest strength isn’t found in carrying on alone, but in allowing yourself to be supported.
